OUR STORY
EDUCATIONTHROUGH PASSION
Stars was founded by Nicholas Lilly in 2012 with the goal of assisting underprivileged children in the grades 6-12 in the Lexington Kentucky area. The mission of Stars is to provide education and guidance to these children, allowing them to discover and pursue their passions. Nicholas Lilly recognized the importance of empowering young minds and wanted to make a positive impact in their lives. Through Stars, he aims to create opportunities for these children to explore their interests and develop their skills, ultimately giving them the tools they need to succeed in their chosen fields. With a firm belief in the potential of every child, Nicholas Lilly and the Stars team work tirelessly to ensure that every student receives the support and resources necessary to thrive academically and pursue their dreams.
6 GOALS AT S.T.A.R.S.
Accessible Education: We aspire to make our program accessible to all scholars at no cost. By eliminating financial barriers, we ensure that every deserving individual has the opportunity to explore and develop their talents.
Program Diversity: S.T.A.R.S. offers two distinct programs to cater to a variety of interests: Sports Theory and MDDDA (Music, Dance, Drama, Digital Arts). These programs are designed to provide a platform for scholars to explore and enhance their skills in areas they are passionate about.
Academic Success: While nurturing talents in sports or the arts, academic success remains a fundamental aspect of our program. We integrate educational support to help scholars excel in their studies, ensuring a well-rounded development.
Passion-Driven Learning: We believe that true education happens when it aligns with one's passions. Our goal is to ignite curiosity and a love for learning by tailoring our programs to the individual interests of each scholar.
Community Impact: S.T.A.R.S. strives to create a supportive and inclusive community where scholars not only learn from our programs but also from each other. Through collaborative efforts, we aim to build a network of empowered individuals who uplift and inspire one another.
Lifelong Learning: Beyond the classroom, our goal is to instill a love for lifelong learning. We envision our scholars becoming leaders, innovators, and positive contributors to their communities, equipped with the skills and values gained through the S.T.A.R.S. program.

Scholars not only learn the fundamentals of playing a sport but also gain insights into the educational aspects of running a sports team. From strategic game plans to the business side of sports management, our scholars are equipped with a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry.
Unleash creativity with our MDDDA program, a dynamic blend of Music, Drama, Dance, and Digital Arts. Scholars engage in a holistic education covering all facets of putting on a performance. From mastering musical instruments and choreography to learning the technical intricacies of digital arts, our scholars experience the magic of the performing arts.
